A tower crane cabin is where the operator spends the whole shift, high above the site. It has to give a clear view down to the hook, keep the operator warm in winter and cool in summer, and hold the controls within easy reach. KRANHAUSS builds tower crane cabins to order: new cabins for tower crane builders and replacement cabins for cranes already in service. Our team has built crane cabins in Ankara since 2004, for clients in about 15 countries.
Designed around the view down
On a tower crane the load is often far below the operator and partly hidden by the structure. The front and floor glazing of the cabin are laid out so the operator sees the hook, the load and the landing point, and laminated safety glass keeps that view safe. The glazing area, sun protection and window cleaning are chosen per project.
Climate and comfort for long shifts
Heating and cooling come from our own crane air conditioning units, which both heat and cool. Insulated panels, an adjustable seat and controls placed within the operator's reach reduce fatigue over a long shift. The control station can be one of our own or follow the crane builder's control layout.
Fitted to your crane
Every tower crane has its own cabin platform, mounting points, access route and electrical connections. We design the cabin around them: send the crane make and model, a mounting drawing and the controls you use, and we propose the cabin layout, the door and window arrangement and the climate unit.
Made to order and quoted per project
There is no stock cabin and no list price: each tower crane cabin is designed and built to order under our ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, and you receive a written quotation with the scope of supply. Delivery terms are agreed per order.

Can you build a replacement cabin for an existing tower crane?
Yes. We take the dimensions and mounting points from your drawings or from the old cabin and build a new cabin that fits the same place.
Is the tower crane cabin air-conditioned?
Yes. We fit our own crane air conditioning units, which both cool and heat, sized to the cabin's glass area and the site climate.
What do you need for a quote?
The crane make and model, a mounting drawing or photos of the current cabin, the controls you use and the site climate. Partial information is fine; our engineers complete the details with you.
